Cupcakes with homemade chocolate toppers

Cute chocolate sponge cupcakes here with rich vanilla buttercream with chocolate toppers and mini marshmallows.

The toppers were so easy to make simply melt some good quality chocolate and spread small circles onto grease proof paper (around the size of a 2p) whilst still wet add the marshmallows or any thing else you like mini smarties, roasted chopped pecans or maybe just some sprinkles. Of you pipe the chocolate onto the great proof you could make any shape you like :) pop them in the fridge for 10 mins and they simply pop off the greaseproof when you need them.

Malteser teaser

Yummy choc sponge with malteser buttercream, ginger sponge with lemon cream cheese icing, vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and chocolate with a whole Oreo in the centre and Oreo buttercream :)

Caramel cuppies

This was a pic of the first trial of caramel cuppies I tried all vanilla buttercream and the top two rows have fillings of raspberry jam and lemon curd.

The caramel ones were drizzled with caramel made with condensed milk and was also the filling (yum!) a few marshmallows to finish :)

Giant cupcake for Jack

This is the giant cupcake I made for Jacks birthday, he loves music so I decided to make a giant pair of headphones for the cake to 'wear'. The cake is vanilla sponge with a vanilla buttercream with a raspberry jam filling. The stripes are red licourice sweets the ones with the white centres :)

First baking post :)

Here is my first baking post this is a cake I was asked to decorate (I wasn't brave enough to ice it myself) and the matching cupcakes, so much fun to make!
